I grew up in both México and the US, and am based in Denmark. My journey to illustration has not been linear at all. I hold a BSc in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen (you won't find any AI-generated art here though).
During the weekdays, I work in the pharmaceutical industry, one that I find both very rewarding and challenging. However, art and creativity has always been a passion I explored in my own way and have always weaved into my scientific work. But it wasn't until I became a parent that I found an immense source of inspiration in the everyday moments and decided to turn my passion into a more concrete reality.

Sharing stories with my own child has awakened a deep love for children's literature and illustrations. Now, in my free time, I explore the vibrant world of children's books illustration, and hope to continue bringing my own artistic vision to life.
